h4ppy.com - Christian's life and travels
'Work to live' is the credo, so I saved up enough cash and went wandering again in early 2006. This time it was 2 months in South East Asia and 1 month in the Sahara, including a solar eclipse. Now that I'm back, I hope to keep the blog fresh with whatever crosses my mind at the time. I hope you find h4ppy.com an interesting, and perhaps inspiring, read.

Merry Christmas
Seasons greetings to everyone! I hope you've all had a great Christmas day and spent the time with the people closest to you.
Although I pretend to be a techie, I've never run a blog before so bear with me as I learn the ropes. The plan, such as it is, is to post travel updates on this blog over the next 2 months as I travel, with Harvey, through SE Asia. Our itinerary includes parts of Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia.

My previous year off in Africa, Cuba, Central Asia and the Middle East was the time of my life (see archived posts below for more). If anyone has a copy of the first email I sent back then (called 'Spike, Bob and Barney') I'd love to have a copy. My hard drive exploded, so I lost mine.
