'Work to live' is the credo, so I saved up enough cash and went wandering again in early 2006. This time it was 2 months in South East Asia and 1 month in the Sahara, including a solar eclipse. My previous year off in Africa, Cuba, Central Asia and the Middle East was the time of my life (see archived posts below for more). If anyone has a copy of the first email I sent back then (called 'Spike, Bob and Barney') I'd love to have a copy. My hard drive exploded, so I lost mine.
